What we do

Brand owners and buyers make arrangements autonomously and independently, BSB performs them! From A to Z. In other words, from stock management in our AGP-depot, order processing, delivery and invoicing to sorting and returning shipments of packaging. But we also manage the GS1DAS-data and help out with the processing of waste fees and other legal requirements. On top of that we are able to perform the desired VAL activities in our control compatible with the requirements of the market. All of the above combined with the right knowledge of our business because we know our craft and the market. Next to (cost) efficiency, we always focus on quality.

How do we do it

Including products in our offer
Food safety will always be the starting point if you were to include your products in our assortment as a brand owner. We are ISO22000- and SKAL-certified and we follow strict procedures in this field. Subsequently, your products will be implemented in both our as well as the GS1DAS database. All relevant product information is accessible for the GS1DAS connected consumers. 

Supply and/or import of products
At BSB we have a Warehouse Management System (WMS) which is the basis for all our activities. The relevant data of every incoming product are logged in our ERP-system by means of scanning the pallet labels. From that point on, the individual product will be tracked by a tracking & tracing system until the product is delivered at the customer. Our advanced WMS ensures the guarantee of the correct shelf life during the delivery.

Our distribution center is now located in Raamsdonksveer but as of 1 March 2018 we will relocate to Etten-Leur. The distribution center is a AGP-depot (excise warehouse), meaning that the liquor is stored tax-free and BSB takes care of the payment when supplied to the customer. We possess all the relevant knowledge and tools in house to handle your excise administration perfectly.

Order processing and invoicing
At BSB we process orders based on the customers’ requirements: either electronical (EDI), e-mail, fax and telephonic. Invoices are sent electronically, by e-mail or by post.

IMPORT & ENTRY

Regardless of whether the products are imported or originate from a Dutch product location, together we will find the most efficient way of transporting the products to our AGP-location in Raamsdonksveer.
When it comes to stock, we offer you a number of advantages:

  • By using advanced forecasting software, we are able to determine the ideal storage levels.
  • We can, if desired, perform the stock management autonomously.

Through EMCS we can take control of the entire process of excises.

DISTRIBUTION

After registration we will convert the client orders to order pick orders. Order picking takes place on a daily basis between 6 AM and 11:59 PM. This process is fully operated
through scanning and voice picking. We then cluster the client orders in optimal distribution rides, also respectfully taking into consideration the unloading times requested by customers. Our permanent drivers conduct about 50 shipments a day. Clients receive deliveries at least twice a week, some of them even every day with a maximum of 6 times a week. 
 

WAREHOUSING

BSB possesses over 12.000 m2 storage in Raamsdonksveer. For our partners we manage a stock of an average of 1.100 SKU’s trade goods and 900 SKU’s POS-materials. In our warehouse:

  • All stocks are adequately insured during storage and transport
  • Food safety ensured thanks to ISO22000- and SKAL-certifications
  • Our Warehouse Management System is FEFO guaranteed (First Expired First Out)
  • We follow every pallet for every relocation which means that full traceability for all goods within the chain is guaranteed
